This is why a would like to offer my competences as marketeer and strategy planner, combined with a motivated approach in the service of Efforts.” – L. Olyslager (CV)

‘As manager of the European cultural route for fortified monuments FORTE CULTURA® and in my functions as fortress network manager, project developer, project manager and funding expert I work every day for the best benefits of my project partners and members, the fortified monuments in Europe. EFFORTS and the European Fortress Tourism and Fortress Marketing Network are strong parallel fortress networks in Europe with different offers for its members. Some other networks existing too. At this moment there’s no cooperation between these networks. Essential questions such as membership fee regulations and finance structures are quite different and aims to different target groups. Each network uses funding instruments and creates new European projects, sometimes with the same content or very similar. Information about activities will only be exchanged at random. My motivation for a candidacy as board member is to close this information lacks and to find solutions for practicable cooperation’s between fortification networks with benefits for the most important basis of our work – the fortified monuments itself. So, I would like to strengthen your board in the fields of European funding, network cooperation or financing.’ – D. Röder (CV)
